Dr. Alex Osborn, MD PhD

Dr. Alex Osborn MD PhD was born in Montreal and received his medical degree and PhD in Human and Molecular Genetics from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Tx. He completed his surgical internship and his residency in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, also at Baylor, and completed his Paediatric Otolaryngology Fellowship at The Hospital for Sick Children Toronto. Alex is calm, caring and listens to his patients. He never rushes anyone and will provide extremely focused care for each and every person.

Dr. Osborn is Board Certified in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery by the American Board of Otolaryngology. He is a member of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. He has conducted research on cell cycle control, hearing and ear disorders, swallowing and airway abnormalities, and lymphatic and vascular malformations. Dr. Osborn’s special areas of clinical interest include: Minimally Invasive Voice, Sinus and Skin Treatments.

State-of-the-art imaging, endoscopic, and KTP laser equipment available at The Voice Clinic allow Dr. Osborn to perform office-based treatments of snoring, mild sleep apnea, tonsil reduction, vocal cord dysfunction and vocal cord paralysis.  He also offers smell testing and therapy for anosmia, and tinnitus treatments are also available.
